Roaring Fork Safety Association, Inc. (“RFSA”) is a Colorado nonprofit corporation formed to provide quality safety and education training programs to improve the health and safety practices of the construction industry in Colorado by bringing together likeminded organizations, creating new training opportunities, and developing consistent practices between contractors.
Creating consistent policy and procedures for all contractors.
We provide extensive safety programs so you can work safely on any job.
Proactive health and safety audits ensure compliance and best practices are in place to ensure the safety of our employees.
Our robust resource library gives you access to vital resources for your staff.
RFSA’s goal is to ensure all construction contractors perform work in a safe manner that is consistent with good construction practices. To meet this goal, an organized and effective safety and health program must be adopted by each of RFSA’s members.
It is our philosophy to make safety equal in importance to quality, schedule, cost, and production. As a condition of membership, each member must commit to meet or exceed the minimum safety standards as set forth in the RFSA Health and Safety Policy and by the Board of Directors.

RFSA believes that accidents can be prevented through planning, training, and a cooperative effort in all areas of our operations. In an effort to prevent injuries, unnecessary hazards to all employees and to the public, loss of production, time, and damage to equipment, and to increase our competitive position, RFSA has established certain health and safety policies.
Our ultimate goal is to level the playing field for safety in construction. We believe it is in everyone′s best interest to compete with contractors who are making comparative efforts in safety and health. We are taking safety off the bid table!
